Cloud Gemini Electronics Corporation (“Cloud Gemini,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website cloudgeminiph.com and related online services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We are committed to handling your information in accordance with the Republic Act No. 10173 — Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

Account information — name, email address, mobile number, and password when you register.
Shipping & billing — recipient name, contact number, and complete delivery address.
Order details — products purchased, quantities, payment method (Cash on Delivery, bank transfer, GCash), and any notes you include.
Partner / installer applications — business name, government IDs, proof of address, and other onboarding documents you choose to upload.
Customer support communications — messages you send through our chat, email, or contact forms.

1.2 Information collected automatically

IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and measure site performance.
Aggregate analytics from the Meta Pixel and the Facebook Conversions API to help us understand storefront traffic and ad effectiveness.

1.3 Information from Facebook Login

If you choose to sign in with Facebook, we receive only the data you authorize Facebook to share with us, which is limited to: your Facebook user ID, name, email address (if you granted the email permission), and your public profile picture. We do not receive your Facebook password, your friends list, your private messages, or your timeline posts. We use this information solely to create or sign you in to your Cloud Gemini account.

2. How We Use Your Information

Create and manage your account and authenticate your sign-ins.
Process and deliver your orders, including order confirmations, shipping updates, and receipts.
Send transactional notifications by email and SMS (e.g. 6-digit verification codes, order status, partner application status).
Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Improve our products, services, and website experience through aggregate analytics.
With your consent, send you marketing about new products, promotions, and news. You may opt out at any time.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal information on the following legal bases under the Data Privacy Act: (a) your consent (e.g. account registration, marketing, Facebook Login); (b) performance of a contract (fulfilling your orders); (c) compliance with a legal obligation; and (d) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Services and preventing fraud, balanced against your rights and freedoms.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as necessary, with:

Service providers — payment processors, courier/logistics partners, SMS provider (UniSMS), email delivery, web hosting, and analytics, all bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations.
Meta Platforms, Inc. — aggregated, hashed event data via the Facebook Conversions API and Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and optimization.
Government agencies and law enforcement, when required by law, subpoena, or court order.
Successors, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations (typically up to 10 years for invoicing and BIR-related records). When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including HTTPS/TLS in transit, hashed passwords, limited access on a need-to-know basis, and secure hosting on cPanel/LiteSpeed infrastructure — to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Disconnecting or Deleting Your Facebook Login

You may disconnect your Facebook account from Cloud Gemini at any time from your profile page. You may also remove our app from your Facebook account under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. To request deletion of all data associated with your Cloud Gemini account, please follow our Data Deletion Instructions.

9. Children

Our Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
